Meditation/Betty’s Verse Of The Day/7-27-14
Psalm 116:4-6 (NIV)

4 Then I called on the name of the Lord:
“Lord, save me!”

5 The Lord is gracious and righteous;
Our God is full of compassion.
6 The Lord protects the unwary;
When I was brought low, he saved me.

We all at times look for compassion, and it’s hard to find in the times we are living in now…People look for money, things that will burn in the fire, things we cannot take with us..God is Gracious, and full of compassion..Today, as we go on through our day, Let’s search for compassion in God our Father, for His ways are right..Let’s sing  of His Love forever..Love BettyB..Let’s pray.

O Lord, Jesus…please hear our prayers this morning..Lord, today we pray for others who are in search of compassion to find it in you today..As we go on help us to be the light for others and guide us to live a Godly life in Jesus Christ our Savior..In Jesus Name..Amen..

  4. Oh Betty. .. This is a beautiful prayer and insight. There is a lack of compassion, isn’t there? Sometimes it is hard for me to put a finger on all that is going on, but you have done that for us today. God bless you!

      • Betty, I did turn off the comments, feeling it was something between God and I, that He wanted me to do. So no worries! Thank you for your faithfulness to Him and ministry to us!
