Meditation/Betty’s Verse Of The Day/8-5-14

 

Romans 1:16

 
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

How do you show your a child of God? When you go out, do people see Christ? Sometimes I will wake and really feel bad physically, and I have to pray and remember God and all He has done. I try to smile as I go through my day, because others may be having a worse day than I am having. Also as we go on we may have a conversation with a stranger. We have a chance to show God’s love, and someone you have a conversation with, may be someone who needs to hear about Him, or even refresh their memory and use also wise words, God’s love will do the rest..So, the question is are you ashamed of the gospel. Precious Lord Jesus,please hear our prayers this morning. Lord as we wake for another day help us to show your love to others. Help us to speak wise and help the lost to find you through your words that you give us..Lord, we love your word and we want to tell others how much you love them..In Jesus Name Amen.
