Meditation/Betty’s Verse Of The Day/8-25-14

2 Corinthians 5:4 (NIV)

4 For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.

As we live in this world we are in pain, if the pain is physical, or spiritual it’s a terrible feeling this way. I think if I had a choice in this I would deal with the physical before the spiritual, because I do not want God to leave me. His word says he never will, and I praise Him for that.

Our body is a tent for our spirit, and one day we will be clothed with our  heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Though we groan and are burdened with the dwelling we are in now burdens us with pain and conflict  in our body, and  so we wait, and one day this body will be replaced with our heavenly body…Love Betty B. Let’s pray..

Precious Heavenly Father please hear our prayers. One day we look forward to your coming. We know the body we are in now isn’t our desire at times because we groan and are in pain in this body. One day we will meet you in the sky and we will have a new body, glorified and whole. We adore your ways and we love you Lord..In Jesus Name, A men.
