Meditation/Betty’s Verse Of The Day/10-22-14

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.  That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Psalm 46:1

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Paul had a illness and he asked God to remove it, by this he was in pain. Paul used the thorn in the flesh to describe this. Sometimes God will use physical pain to draw us closer to Him, and to make us stronger in our relationship with Him. When nobody listens to us when we feel so bad physically God is there always and He will sustain us and He won’t leave. Sometimes we can cause ourselves pain and or we can cause trials in our lives, and God still holds us up. Keep shining for Jesus for His grace is sufficient for us. Love Betty B. let’s pray..

Lord Jesus please hear us this morning. Lord today we ask for your strength, for our lives always need your touch. Today Lord we pray for our brothers and sisters who are ill, we ask for healing and guidance for all. Today we also ask for blessings on our leaders and on Israel, guide their ways and protect them..We love you Lord, In Jesus name, Amen.
