Into His Arms I Fall

Meditation/Betty’s Verse Of The Day/11-7-14

2 Thessalonians 2  (NIV)

The Man of Lawlessness

Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness[a] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

When Jesus comes back to take us home, he will come on the clouds, and we will know him right away. Some will say he already has come, or he will come in different form, but I tell you now he will come on a cloud and we will go with him, the dead will rise first then all the one’s in him that are left on earth will be gathered together and we will be home, our home in heaven. Love Betty B ..let’s pray.

Precious Lord Jesus please hear us this morning. Lord today help us not to be deceived by things that are not of you, guide us in your word as we study and keep listening to your guidance. Help us to always look for you in the clouds, when the trumpet sounds help us to just lift our hands to the heavens and glide with you to our home in heaven. In Jesus name, amen
