Meditation/Betty’s Verse Of The Day/2-1-15

 

James 5:11 (NIV)

¹¹ As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

 

Job was faithful to God, Satan could not get him to sin or to be unfaithful to God. His love for God meant more to him than anything. I would recommend reading the book of Job today! Anyway God’s love for Job  was truly compassionate, and Job would not turn against God even after all that happened to him God restored him and gave him back even more than what he had before. We have a compassionate God and He is Holy, He has His reasons and sometimes we are not meant to understand, so we must be compassionate too, to others that need our love we must be like Jesus, and another lesson in waiting, on God’s timing all we pray for will be answered on God’s timing, Love BettyB..Let’s pray..

 

Precious Lord Jesus today help us to be compassionate to others that need your love today, guide our walk as we go forward to bring others your word, take control of all our thoughts and words, we love you Lord, In Jesus Name Amen.
