The church at Sardis was urged to obey the christian truth they had heard when they first believed in Christ, to get back to the basics of the faith. It is important to grow in our knowledge of the Lord, to deepen our understanding through careful study. But no matter how much we learn, we must never abandon the basic truths about Jesus. God didn’t need no direction when He made us, He wove us in our mothers womb, and He also knew us before we were made. What amazes me is that He first loved us before we knew Him, and before He made us. His kindness and love for us gave us hope and it still gives us hope today, see, God loves us and He loved us first, this is why He sent Jesus, His Love is faithful and He always keeps His Promises. Sometimes our hearts just ache and our words won’t come out right, or they just won’t come out at all, just tears fall. Look at the verse above, study it and think on it today. We have a helper that Jesus sent back to us when He ascended into heaven, He is the Holy Spirit, when we ache and when we hurt our Lord gave us a way out, so today when no words escape and you want to cry out, don’t forget God hears you and your heart speaks to Him and He listens. Let us close our eyes just for a few seconds and think about our Savior praying for all of us even before we were born, now that is amazing. Our physical bodies get hungry and God made food for us as fuel like gas is for a car. We eat to live, we do not live to eat. The food helps our minds and bodies to perform regular days like work, duties at home, and marriage duties and so forth. 11 As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
Job was faithful to God, Satan could not get him to sin or to be unfaithful to God. His love for God meant more to him than anything. I would recommend reading the book of Job today! Anyway God’s love for Job was truly compassionate, and Job would not turn against God even after all that happened to him God restored him and gave him back even more than what he had before. We have a compassionate God and He is Holy, He has His reasons and sometimes we are not meant to understand, so we must be compassionate too, to others that need our love we must be like Jesus, and another lesson in waiting, on God’s timing all we pray for will be answered on God’s timing, Love BettyB..Let’s pray..

Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
How can you come near to God? James gives five ways, (1) submit to God( (4:7) yield to his authority and will, commit your life to him and his control,and be willing to follow him. (2) Resist the devil don’t allow satan to entice and tempt you. (4:7). (3)Wash your hands..and purify your hearts(that is, lead a pure life) (4:8) , be cleaned from sin, replacing your desire to sin, replacing your desire to sin with your desire to experience God’s purity. (4) Grieve and mourn and wail in sincere sorrow for your sins (4:9) don’t be afraid to express deep heartfelt sorrow to what you have done. (5) Humble yourself before the Lord, and he will lift you up, (4:10); (1 Peter 5:6)…Love BettyB..Let’s Pray..
