Betty’s Verse Of The Day/10-10-13

[ Present Suffering and Future Glory ] I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Lord Jesus, please hear our prayers this morning. Lord, today help us to find that peace we need to carry on, guide our ways today, teach us your ways, for it is the only thing that holds us together..Bless the sick Lord, and guide doctors that treat the illnesses and protect us this day..In Jesus Name, Amen.

Meditation/10-10-13

“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to his people and redeemed them.

Look at the word Redeemed, or it is redeem..To make something that is bad, pleasant. Make it better, that is what Christ did, He redeemed us..He bought us back through His death..He repurchased us and adopted us as sons and daughters of the most high. He made us better, He redeemed us and He is still working in us as this day and our life goes on. We are forgiven, we are His and He is ours..Love BettyB

Re·deem

Transitive verb \RI-ˈdēm\

: to make (something that is bad, unpleasant, etc.) better or more acceptable

Full Definition of REDEEM

1 A :  to buy back :  repurchase

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”

Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.
